Global citizenBio: Andrew holds a yacht design degree from Southampton Solent University. Previously, he studied Electronics at Kingston University and spent five years as a pilot in the Royal Air Force. After leaving the RAF he was appointed Technical Director for Seldén, the world's largest yacht mast manufacturer, and went on to other Technical Director roles leading multi-disciplinary design teams in the aerospace and marine industries. In 2005, recognizing that the water industry needs innovative solutions to tackle the challenges of climate change and growing urban populations, he set up i2O Water with Adam Kingdon (now CEO of i2O Water). Having spotted a gap in the market for advanced pressure management, they developed pioneering technology to reduce leakage and burst frequency on water distribution networks.
